Verify independently

We do not guarantee the accuracy of CDSS data shown on this site. Licensing status, phone numbers, addresses, and inspection history can change at any time. Always verify directly with the facility and the California Department of Social Services at ccld.ca.gov before making any care decisions.

Not a placement agency

Bay Area Board & Care is not a licensed care placement agency. We do not receive referral fees from families or from facilities in connection with placement decisions. We do not provide medical, legal, or financial advice. For care planning assistance, consult a licensed geriatric care manager or social worker.

Operator responsibilities

Operators who claim or upgrade their listings agree that all information they provide — including photos, descriptions, amenities, and pricing — is accurate and truthful. Misrepresentation of facility information may result in removal from the directory.

Listing removal

We reserve the right to remove or modify any listing at our discretion, including listings for facilities that no longer hold a valid CDSS license, facilities with active enforcement actions, or listings that violate our accuracy standards.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bay Area Board & Care, its operators, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this directory or your reliance on information shown herein. Use of this site is at your own risk.

Changes to these terms
